Overall configuration

This vessel is a steel‑hull, self‑propelled, full‑rotation crane ship, featuring streamlined bow and stern with rounded corners along the longitudinal lines and at the bilge.

A electro-hydraulic full‑rotation crane is installed at the stern, with a maximum lifting capacity of 3,000 tonnes when stationary and a full‑rotation lifting capacity of 2,500 tonnes.

Upon completion, the vessel will primarily be employed for pile‑foundation construction and other offshore operations involving 10 MW and larger turbine units, with unlimited navigation area and flying the Five‑Star Red Flag.

The deck area is approximately 2,800 square meters, with an autonomous endurance of 45 days and a range of 2,000 nautical miles, accommodating a crew of 100.

The stern is equipped with three 2,000 kW azimuth thrusters, while the bow features three 1,800 kW bow thrusters, providing DP2 dynamic positioning capability.

It can be deployed and relocated over long distances, propelled by three fully rotating rudder‑propellers at the stern, with a maximum speed of 7.5 knots.

Operational sea conditions

The target operational area is within China’s territorial waters, with the flexibility to also cover Southeast Asian and European coastal waters.

The structural design temperature is specified at −15°C, thereby complying with the requirements for vessels operating in low-temperature regions as set forth in the 2019 amendment to the Rules for Classification of Steel Sea‑Going Ships.

Air temperature Sea water temperature Relative humidity
Summer conditions +45℃ +32 ℃ 70 %
Winter conditions -20 ℃ -2℃ 90 %

Dynamic positioning capability

Operating condition and environmental requirements:

Significant wave height: 2.5 m

Surface current speed: 2.5 kn

Wind speed: 13.8 m/s

In normal operating mode, the thruster can withstand a maximum wind speed of 18.2 m/s when facing into the waves.

The maximum wind speed that can be withstood during crosswinds is 12.98 m/s.

The wind speed requirement for the in‑position operating condition is 13.8 m/s, with a corresponding allowable deviation of ±57°.

Construction capability

● One 3,000-ton full-rotation main crane

● 1 full electric propulsion system

● 3 sets of azimuth thrusters + 3 sets of bow thrusters

● Average deck load: 10 tons per square meter

● A capacity of 100 people meets construction requirements.

The vessel has a lifting capacity of 3,000 tonnes and is capable of conducting assisted launching and installation of jacket structures, offshore wind turbine installation, as well as the hoisting and driving of foundation piles for offshore wind farms.

It simultaneously accommodates the construction of both the offshore bridge deck and the immersed tunnel segments.

The electric propulsion system features a high degree of automation and, in conjunction with the rudder‑propeller and thrusters, enables DP2 operations without anchoring, offering exceptional maneuverability and enhancing construction efficiency.

The 10 t/m² deck load exceeds that of vessels in the same class, providing a robust guarantee for the storage and transportation of heavy cargo.

The capacity has been expanded to accommodate the living and working needs of 100 personnel, support wind‑farm construction, and provide space for pipeline‑laying, cable‑laying, and other related operations.
